Link: The ThunderDragon: Boycott ID Card Contract Winners.
I endorse the Thunder Dragon's endorsement. Why would you want to give further business to companies which plan to assist in the Government's destruction of Britain's liberties? Sign up now and make them think twice.
Why stop at the winners? Any company that even bids for this contract should be boycotted.

Much as I deplore the idea of retrospective taxation, the present British government has used it frequently over the past ten years, often for overtly political purposes. The Conservative Party should give notice now that when it forms a future government, it would levy a 99% tax on all of the profit of companies involved with this scheme, whether or not those profits came directly from their ID Card activities.
That should just about kill the project stone dead, and may even encourage me to vote Conservative again.

I've signed.
I am a human being, not a number on a database.

IBM has been mentioned. Rumour has it they aided the Nazi's in devising systems for tracking "undesirables".
