Remembering the opening shot

Cannon I have just realised that I failed to notice the second anniversary of this blog on March 15th. Coincidentally, that was also the 25th anniversary of my qualifying as a solicitor (a word I have hardly used in 15 years outside the UK, as "lawyer" conveys the meaning without the sniggers).

So, anyway, I am almost a full month into the third year of "The Last Ditch." I am not sure I have achieved any of the objectives I set myself two years ago. However, like so many things in life, blogging has brought benefits (and costs) I never anticipated.  So far, the former outweigh the latter.

I will try to remember the next anniversary, if only as an excuse to drink some decent wine.

Congratulations youve done well. Although I mean that more in relation to your blog aniversary rather than your solicitor aniversary, though I do suspect your a good one!
